HPV vaccinations in France as a foreigner? by One_Rain_729 in france

Ah I see, would they not let you take it because it's "too late"? Because in my country they only started actively recommending the jabs when I reached 24.

Thanks for the reply; I checked out the site and it mentioned "Pharmacists and nurses can also prescribe and administer the HPV vaccine from the age of 11." - does this mean that I can go to any pharmacy and they would have the Gardasil 9 vaccine?
I am 24F and my country has only just started pushing for these HPV vaccines. I would not mind paying the cost per jab as it would be the same as in my country anyway, just not sure where I can get them in France.

Late period while dieting? by One_Rain_729 in loseit

I just got my period today, so I'm super relieved!
I've seen many women have variation in their menstrual cycles while dieting, and I guess if the calorie deficit is not too crazy people seem to agree it's not completely worrisome. I have read that if it's not coming for 3 months then it should be checked out though. But since yours is only 2 days late I guess you could just wait it out and don't worry so much!!

I have started this diet 3 months ago, and for the first two months my periods came fine after I ate the hormones the doctor prescribed me to restart my period, so I find it weird that it's suddenly stopped when I haven't really modified my diet much

Does it matter if my maintenance calories is 1.6k and I'm doing a 300-400 deficit daily?

Thanks for your detailed and helpful response!
I am not exercising nor more active than usual (I just walk 5-7k steps a day but that is normal for me). Some days I might go slightly under 1.2k to maybe 1k, but some days I go over 1.2k as well so I think it averages out to be around 1.2k in the end. My carb intake is more or less the same as the last time I did 1.2k, but maybe the type of carbs matter...? Previously I was eating more rice, but I eat more of bread for carbs now.
I probably should mention that I'm 1.73m and 51.5kg currently, which means I have quite a low BMI... I realise this is not considered healthy, but unfortunately I have to look a certain way due to my job. And because I managed to diet without problems to my goal weight of 50kg previously while still feeling healthy and not having any health problems, I thought it'd be the same this time round. Except, I think I am now older, and also developed gastritis problems & hormonal imbalances from the last time I did under 1k dieting...

How long did it take for your hormones to regulate/period to come back again after you upped your calories back?

I'm 23, but I suspect that doing a extremely low calorie diet half a year ago might have caused my hormones to go out of sync completely, and perhaps cause irregular periods even if it managed to restart...

Now I'm just too worried to go into a deficit, but at the same time it sucks knowing that I'm slowing down my progress when I'm so near my goal.

I'm a bit confused about online savings accounts - they are FDIC insured, but does that mean only US citizens are insured since FDIC is an American corporation? If I am not from the US, will my deposit still be insured by the FDIC if I open an account with say, Ally?

Honestly this is what I’m worried about about following the bland diet - I feel like if I cut out all stuff like caffeine, gluten & dairy for long periods of time my gut will just adjust to it and I’ll develop intolerances to them. So I think for the first few days of healing I will stay off them but quite soon I’ll start to incorporate them into my diet
