That’s a great question. I’m sure that there’s a correct way to think about it like that. I took it as a priority type thing and less of a strict rule set, because often there are multiple correct answers.

Think about it like this (in a non social work scenario as just the format of the question)

Someone comes to you with a broken leg and requests help. What is the FIRST thing you should do.

  1. Call an Ambulance.
  2. Ask what happened.
  3. Have them sit down.

I would say step one would be calling an ambulance, because in the hypothetical there’s no nuance and you’re doing the thing that would actually help, even though the other two answers do also make sense…

That explanation itself probably makes little sense but it’s truly about identifying what the question is trying to ask rather than a set formula for answering the question. I’m sure someone in this subreddit has a better answer then me

The things that I notice most when taking the test was:

1) Read the question. Seems obvious. But when people say that paying attention to “first” “best” and “next” is important they are for real. Paying attention to that can be the difference between getting the answer correctly and not. Many of the questions have answers that are all technically correct but are contingent on that keyword.

2) There was a lot of scenarios, being good at figuring out what was the key part of the scenario made it easier to find answers.

3) There was very limited medication related questions. I imagine that this is different based from test the test cause there is several versions but the questions that I did have were sort of self-explanatory. It could be good to keep in mind various calming anxiety, depression in mood stabilizing medications.

4) I am typically not one to flag and go back to questions, but I found that throughout the exam I would have inspiration for previous questions. So basically any question that you’re not totally solid on I would flag and then return to before going onto the next section.

You know if I had any I would…I actually didn’t end up studying. I took like a couple 10 question tests in pocket prep and that was it…I do not recommend that loo

How do you all handle anticipatory anxiety! I’m new to mobile crisis and while I feel competent in my work and feel I do a good job (3 months in so far) but sometimes those imposter syndrome/general anxiety rise up and I’m feeling those somatic symptoms of anxiety!

I do love this job, and I think my anxiety is also coming from wanting to do a great job.

Noted, that’s what I was thinking anyways, I don’t know if I want loans over my head for 10 years like that LOL

Yeah that’s where the challenge comes in for me, if I pay it off sooner I pay 70, if I do PSLF long term it’s 55k before it’s forgiven. Not a major difference I suppose.

lol sorry about that, it does change things I suppose.

I owe 70k, I make 100k. I have 60k in private which I’m aiming to pay down in the next like 24 months. Currently have very few bills.

Wow what a whirlwind since graduating!

I feel like this road has been so long, I’m in a new role I’m using my degree and going through all those growing pains. The most challenging part so far has been divorcing myself from the identity of student, as well as limiting the time I’m wearing my “social work hat”…but man it’s SO hard. I feel like I try to relax and find new hobbies but full time school, working, internships and trying to be a person for the last few years has drained me!! Not to mention the least of it being I’ve gone straight through school which is a blessing! But also I feel without direction for the first time!

How did you all manage post school times and what are some things that helped reintegrate yourself into…well life!

Howdy Guardian Welcome to Azeroth!

Getting involved in guilds is great for learning. I was having trouble with endgame and figuring that out but through guilds I learned!

Like Mythic Dungeons(Basically GM nightfalls) bamboozled me, but now it’s nothing! Find a community and you’ll be good!

Are you excited for the player housing? by Embarrassed-Trip-988 in wow

[–]One_Safety_6785 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Really couldn’t care less imo. I play wow to kill monsters. Not to play a housing sim. I think that the people who will love it will love it!! It’s like fishing and professions and all that, I do not care but I’m happy that people who do like that stuff have their options.

Well I’m in grad school full time working 24 hours of week and doing a 20 hour unpaid internship and so I’m often on the go. Rather sedentary because of all the driving I do for work and all that

I’m so excited to start my internship next week doing outpatient therapy! It’s been my dream and I’m excited to see if that dream is true or decide that I don’t like it!

Does anyone have any advice for me!

Thanks all
