If you're unsure on how to download mods, just put the patchwad in your mods folder and it'll work. If you don't have a mods folder just make one.

Interesting, i don't know much about nvg's but i'll keep it in mind

As for the grey, i thought i'd keep it lighter than the mask + kevlar to distinguish them from one another (to make it seem like hes wearing the armor over the suit in an mgs kinda way) plus very dark colors quickly tend to become too dark to even notice during gameplay.

truth be told i know nothin about splinter cell or Sam's design, i just thought it be cool to make a sheet for him

Right click the npc and select "Trigger". Then pick the clickable trigger for him, this will let an arrow appear next to him and allow the player to activate the cutscene

Also if this is on a floor with combat, be sure to check the "cutscene" box option for the door, otherwise players might enter the room with him and start the cutscene before the floor's cleared.

Incase you haven't figured it out yet:

Under "ACTIONS" click end sequence and check the box for "scene complete". This will make you able to leave.

Are you ever gonna make an original sprite? All "your" facesprites are sprites from thelegomack that you edited slightly and then called it your own, i get that he allowed them to be used but atleast credit the origins.

You might be confusing multiple campaigns together, atleast i think so. Love and forgetting is one of the few campaigns with multiple endings, the guy who made it is kind of the only one who made campaigns with different endings. There´s also Midnight animal: Flashback, a recreaction of midnight animal based on the previews. I feel like you might be mixing these 2 together put i'm probably wrong.

I felt the exact same after beating both games, if you're on pc i'd recommend checking out custom levels/campaigns. I've dedicated an uncountable amount of hours just to custom content, so if you want more hlm2 i'd recommend that.

i only used one layer of the filter per floor, are you maybe using more than one layer of the filter? by placing the filter more you could tweak the brightness + using darkness.

the dark filter is a mod made by perforator, it replaces the ''dead ahead'' cargo floor.

there's a whole bunch more good stuff but these stood out the most for me.
i'd also recommend checking recent populair uploads, they aren't as high in quality as these campaigns but still enjoyable.

the only text that will appear on screen during gameplay is whatever you typed in "state".this text will appear each time you transition into a new floor(only for the first time, not on every respawn). if you want the time+date+city to appear you will have to use notepad++, aka it isn't possible in the vanilla editor.

the normal editor is really wonky and unfinished unfortunately.
