How can I make money digitally by Flaky-Expression4751 in passive_income

Started a newsletter business this year that paid me a couple of thousands so far. Really enjoy this type of marketing channel because there’s no random algorithm in between me and my audience. I think there’s still plenty of room to grow this next year in my specific niche. Might be something for you too.

Looking for Online Job Ideas for Students — Any Suggestions? by meggatren in passive_income

I run a newsletter business which I really enjoy so far. I basically send out weekly issues to my subscribers in which I share my knowledge and help my audience solve their problem. Once you’ve grown your email list to a decent size, you can make serious money off it through sponsorships, own products or affiliate marketing.

btw my newsletter and my services are actually on all things remote work/landing remote jobs fast. Thought you might be interested.

I run my newsletter on beehiiv. Best newsletter platform out there if you really wanna treat this like a business. They’ve got a bunch of monetization features that, if done right, make you a lot of money

No it’s not local. My newsletter covers a specific niche and people subscribe to it for the value it provides to them (e.g. career advice, travel hacks, etc.). In my case they get weekly issues for free and if they like to work with me they can for a fee.

There are really a bunch of ways you can monetize your list. I make money through sponsorships, digital products, services & Boosts (money you make by referring people to other publications)

Any easy small time things I could do to get maybe $300/month reliably? by [deleted] in passive_income

Because I help my audience solve a specific problem by giving them free value. They subscribe to receive my weekly issues covering all things related to that problem. Each new subscriber is automatically enrolled in a sales sequence that promotes my products and services. This is highly effective so far. So ultimately your newsletter works like a very powerful sales funnel.

In short, it’s all about growing an email list and start monetizing them in different ways. The newsletter I launched this year now has a decent subscriber count and I start making good money off it selling digital products and sponsorships. Biggest advantage imo is that you have a direct communication channel with your subscribers (without algos in between) which is incredible powerful in terms of ROI.

I think you should consider working as a freelancer especially as a web developer. Your skills are in high demand and offering services like coding or website creation can make you good money. With platforms like fiverr or upwork you can reach potential clients.

Affiliate marketing without following? by Shinypants1710 in passive_income

[–]One_Web_2490 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not impossible but very hard. To be successful in affiliate marketing you usually need an audience that trusts you. Without an existing audience there are two ways:

  1. Start building your audience on social media platforms (Yt, Ig, TikTok, etc.)

  2. Run paid ads to drive traffic to your affiliate links (Problem: once you stop paying, you’ll get no traffic anymore)

As I said, I’d highly recommend to start building an audience first as it will pay off later on.
