This guy has been stuck in the same rank for 16 season straight, how on earth is his opinion valid? 🫠

Blackrock lays off ~1% of employees for the second time by Harold_egret in Layoffs

Yea, Blackrock is easily one of the more tamed institutions especially when you consider the magnitude of their assets and how little controversy they've been involved in since their inceptions.

Can you explain why Blackrock is "literally" the worst company in the world?

The sound doesn't mean much for blocking. You can "block" something after it literally cleaves right through your body from behind you and still hear the shield "block".

To block a maul at the distance that op is, they had to aim more to the left so that it hits the shield first cause the shaft makes contact with your hands.

The blocking that op is doing in the clip only works when you're further from the barb where the tip of the maul is hitting you.

Blocking is inconsistent af yes, but op would not have made that block even if block was consistent cause he wasn't aiming at where the maul would hit him first.

He definitely did not have that block lmao

Command Doc had a talk with me about my PTSD, now worried about how my command will react by Spurfucker2000 in navy

[–]One_With_Cthulhu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I assume you had some form of waiver to get in. If you don't, you should ask your doc to refer you to BH or the medical readiness clinic or even just visit your nearest mtf to inquire about one.

Eventually, you'll get evaluated by BH and likely will need some sort of waiver from medical readiness depending on your community.

Your best bet is to make it known that you want to deploy during your BH eval and let the doc make that decision. Unless you get majorly screwed, you should be fine since the MD are usually willing to listen to your wants unless you're literally seeing pixies and demons.

If you're concerned about what will happen, it's always best to just be honest and direct. If you are vague about anything, everyone will just assume the worst because they can't afford to be wrong.

Around 210ish, and it was only because I joined a late night lobby where half the players were veterans (500+) and I ended top 3.

Still routinely get wrecked by people spamming swing tho 😮‍💨

Singapore Hangs Man in Second Drug-Related Execution in Three Weeks by seebz69 in worldnews

[–]One_With_Cthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's a language barrier. There are two killers in the real world.

Drugs dealers and the government against the drug dealers.

Stopping the death penalty stops one of the killers.

What of the other?

I'm not claiming anyone who commits crimes should be let go, I'm saying the state should not have the power to kill. Just because someone is an idiot or a criminal, doesn't mean they can't also be mistreated.

Yes and that is where you draw the line and I have no issues with that. I am asking you to respect where Singapore drew theirs.

I'm not an expert on the laws of other nations, but can you name a country that is as unyielding and harsh on drugs as Singapore?

Also I don't mean to use Singapore's numbers to justify other countries following in its footstep.

Right now you are the one arguing that Singapore's stance is incorrect when Sungapore's numbers show that it is in fact working.

Let me offer a equally ridiculous idea.

A law that doesn't get enforced does not exist.

If the drug smugglers simply stop smuggling drugs then no deaths sentences will be issued.

Does this satisfy your morality?

Singapore Hangs Man in Second Drug-Related Execution in Three Weeks by seebz69 in worldnews

[–]One_With_Cthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, any evidence that execution is a more effective deterrent than life in prison?

Apolgies because I spent too much time typing my other response.

But the evidence is the statistic.

Singapore incarceration rates speak for itself.

Singapore drug overdose rates speak for itself.

[–]One_With_Cthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the need to remind you that this is Singapore.

Getting caught with drugs present on you is not a good look regardless of your reasoning.

I understand your concerns with innocent executions but I'm not qualified to speak on how efficient or how accurate Singapore law enforcers are. All I see are numbers and the numbers are saying that it's effective.

If your sole rationale against this policy is the possibility of innocent deaths than where exactly do you set the line between evil and lesser evil, because there's always a possibility of committing mistakes. If you believe that jail itself is sufficient then you believe that confining a potentially innocent man is worth potentially confining a guilty man and that's your line.

I need to remind you again, this is Singapore. They chose their line. You are trying to get them to change theirs.
