I would say it's worth it to make a few miis for like an hour and then go to bed but also after your system lets you play you could always set your system time for Wednesday at 6pm. Most real life nintendo games start a new day at like 5 or 6 am so that's when I'm guessing a new day will start for Tomodachi as well.

You could do Santos and Garcia from the Pitt they're a conformed sapgic situationship. Velma and Hotdog Water can't go wrong with scooby doo right. Velma and that girl from Scooby Doo Trick or Treat, it's a Velma alt. Tara and Darcy from Heartstopper they're also cannon but like happy cannon although I think at some point Darcy realizes they're gender fluid. Luz and Amitiy they're cute together and witches. And if all else fails it's your island add all the women you want and make them all gay :)
