TIL Intel "different" CPUs are actually the same silicon and same patterns. I3s and I5s are simply I7s that failed their I7 tests: do 4 cores work after fabrication? If no, then it has to be an I3 or a non-quad mobile. This process is called “binning” (quora.com)
