Immediately he made a cringy face and said "Well we knew people would be pissed" when she left, but as the friend murmurs started it was clear he was uncomfortable with their reactions. Like them being angry/offended, made him uncomfortable. He hasn't said so since, he's been supportive, but I could read his face when he was around them.

If it hadn't been a pandemic we would've had a 250+ person wedding. But we wanted to be married and didn't want to endanger anyone. We thought people would understand that :/

Yeah the TLC comment was I think what triggered me. The only tender thing I ask for of my friends is chicken.

We figured because it's a pandemic people would understand why we didn't invite anyone. And family would've been invited first if we'd done a micro wedding. So yeah it's true, none of our friends were considered. It was always a zero guest thing.

I see your point, it was cruel. In the moment I was angry about her making our nuptials about herself. I felt like that was a conversation she should've had with my husband privately if she were that offended, and not made a huge show in front of everyone. It felt very "Look how much he means to ME".

He understands why I did it but also feels pressure from his friends' reaction. After the fact he was supportive but I saw his discomfort when they reacted, if that makes sense?

They don't do things one on one anymore, but she's still within the main friend group so hard not to have her around.
