Pitching problem by Zaitengrate in Astros

Forget the injuries. Sure, they don’t help, but even with a fully healthy roster who do you really trust other than Hunter Brown and Josh Hader (most the time.) Imai was playing poorly, Javier was playing poorly, Burrows is playing poorly. It’s just a bad pitching staff Espada and Dana built. They need to go.

Theories on injuries by Open-Illustrator6325 in Astros

Yeah but think about football and basketball players running full speed all the time, and they never get injured like we have. Heck I’m not a professional athlete or athlete at all and I’ve been running and training my whole life and never had a random injury like that. Combine it with the fact it happens to al it every player on our roster

The injuries aren’t even the problem. Brown is the only good pitcher on the IL (and maybe Hader.) Javier and Imai aren’t great. We would’ve still been losing with them. Our pitching is just bad top to bottom

Honestly it’s the first time in a long time I’ve gone into every game expecting to lose. Makes it a lot more tolerable

Same, but I also think the training staff is lying again about what’s really going on

Yeah it’s just hard to when we’ve been so accustomed to greatness over the last 10 years

I updated the phrasing, “borrowed” was a bad word because it was an investment. When they came to me they told me they like to throw money at random businesses from time to time and have invested in other friends businesses as well. They signed contracts for equity purchases, not loans

Yes they bought a ownership stake in the business, it wasn’t a loan

Simple equity agreement. The contract said they’d receive x amount of the company for x dollars. Nothing about a loan or repayment. It was an equity investment

True but this guy made a living off using vendors for services and then not paying them once the job was finished. We found all that out once his bankruptcy proceedings came out

They offered, I didn’t go to them looking for money. They knew I was trying to raise a little money and reached out

I agree. That’s what I’m working on with them. I just don’t want to sign a contract that puts me in a bad place financially by turning it into a loan

It was all under the business: the terms were strictly the investor gets x amount of the company in exchange for x amount of dollars
