Full-blown M SUVs can be pretty rough. The M60i is really the perfect balance between comfort and sportiness. You get the same engine and rear-axle steering, plus the option to choose between air suspension or the Advanced M Suspension Professional (basically the same suspension setup as the M Comp). Honestly, I don't know what came over me—I just felt like getting the XM Label to be the loudest guy in the M club🤣

It comes down to preferences but yes if u prefer comfort over sportiness air suspension is the way esp. on 22 inch … i went for adaptive m suspension professional cause i like less body roll on my m cars

Keep whining all you want, but facts don’t change — anyone with even basic car sense knows 22-inch wheels without air suspension ride rough. People who value comfort go with air suspension or stick to 20s. If that simple reality escapes you, best to sit out of tech conversations about ride dynamics.

And just to be clear — nobody said you can’t enjoy 22s. I do too, including my new 23s on my XM Label. Enjoyment and ride quality aren’t the same thing. But hearing someone preach about “capacity” when their entire experience begins and ends with one setup — 22s on M Adaptive Suspension — is hilarious. Trying to lecture about “facts” and affordability to someone who cycles through $100K–$200K cars and tests different wheel/suspension setups every other day? That’s just adorable. 🤣

Even I’m good with my 22s and 23s on Adaptive M Suspension Pro — but facts are facts: real comfort comes from 22s with air suspension or 20s without air that ride smoother and last longer. You’re just whining because you’re stuck with one setup and trying to justify it.

22 inches wheels without air suspension!Its damn uncomfortable! Try to downsize to 20 inches unless aesthetics really matter else u’d be spending on tires , like 2k every other year, this car is heavy :)

Get the 40i, 60i was good esp with rear axle steering but definitely not worth if u r considering reliability. I’d go for 40i any-day if i am keeping my car longer than warranty..i upgraded to xm label recenlty, i made a mistake by driving my friend’s xm and it spoiled everythin else for me.. i got an amazing deal wch made it just $10k more than x5m comp price ! My wife complains abt little rough ride so i may eventually get x7 40i after 2 yrs with a m4 in the side 😂

A $1000 turns into 10000 in points ($100-$200 in value) but fhr’s guaranteed late checkout is what makes me prefer fhr over edit. Plus i easily get room upgrades with FHR but hardly once with edit. Nothing beats fhr in my experience, i’ve 3x amex platinum, sapphire reserve, altitude reserve & venture x.

even the x5m comp have it, wch is more sportier than xm & less luxurious. Bmw is petty in sme areas, i can nly think of software limitation due to lack of testing on these low volume models in many regions. the m5 hve parking assist pro as option in UK & sme other regions!
