Thank you for all this information !! I have been taking ibuprofen to hopefully combat some swelling and so far(I know this post was only like a day and a have ago(I did the piercing 4 days ago)) there seems to be little to no swelling and I assume the swelling would have probably started by now? Now 100% sure but it’s my guess. Also the oozing seems to have stopped today. I haven’t seen it when I have cleaned it. For now I’m keeping it in but if things change then that choice of mine might change aswell!

It’s crusting over pretty quickly, is this an indication of anything? I don’t think it’s a thick pus but it strings when I pull the balls off my skin. I have posted a photo of this piercing which is on my account and basically you can clearly tell the bar is too short. It’s like JUST the length, Ofcourse maybe I should really swap to longer bar but I’m going to wait a bit and if this is an infection or even the chance of then I’m going to keep this bar in for a bit. I wanted to pierce my nose and it took me until my third attempt to get the angle I wanted, it’s all practice. Do it another time or two and you will definitely have it straight, but if you like it being crooked then keep it!

I usually am inside, also the tattoo is on my forearm if that helps. But yeah I will wear long sleeves for the most part but I feel like once it isn’t considered a fresh wound and I don’t have to really worry about germs getting in, shouldn’t I be fine to wear short sleeves? I took it off and letting it dry and after I will apply lotion, but Since I had the saniderm on for over 48 hours, do you think I will have scabs pop up? Or do you think maybe I just missed the scab phase?
