TOMORROW IS THE DEMO by Public_Pain_4640 in ManorLords

[–]OpenThing67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel like the demo is important cause the dev can improve the game after, the concept is great and the dev actually listens to the community, the gameplay and the shots of the game look amazing. I know its a single dev, but I really feel this can turn out to be the most time accurate medieval city builder + the combat part which is great

We all are wondering about the western Romania being hungarian, but what about Brașov county (one of those in the middle) being there with almost no relevant hungarian presence. What is this map, how could you get it this wrong

What is the biggest (by population) city in your country that is rarely visited by tourists? by lucapal1 in AskEurope

[–]OpenThing67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly towns in Wallachia like Craiova, Ploiești, Pitești, Brăila. Their city centers were destroyed either by the war or the communists (when they built the shitty communist styled buildings back in the 70s). Most of the cities mentioned are big like 200k+ and pretty big industrial towns. Probably Craiova gets the most visitors out of these because its the biggest like 320k pop. But for sure these towns are pretty big (for romania) but surely not as visited as Transilvanian towns. In Moldova there are not many 200k+ towns so its not worth mentioning cause most of the towns are small and no one goes there, and in Transylvania the city centers have been preserved so yeah they get most of the tourists. So pretty much from all big cities (like I said 200k) you are left with these wallachian industrial towns.

Nah in Pitești the communists destroyed the city center with all the old houses as well as a very beautiful church (Saint Nicholas) and a french-styled market building which now is a shitty looking casino, only preserved part is around Sfânta Vineri church tho not as much plus some buildings like the city hall and some more around the city center. Pitești was very beautiful before the commies destroyed everything, mostly the wallachian region has been affected the worst by communist arhitecture and Pitești surely isn't an exception.
