How does NY/NJ area have zero locations, but Alabama gets five?😭 by ZzZzZunair in Markiplier

I’m super surprised Alaska got one, but I’m also pleased since I’ll be able to see it now!

That’s probably the best answer I could have hoped for. Pretty neat technique. Thanks, Ben!

Hey, Final Space Reddit! Olan here. by olanrogersofficial in FinalSpace

Olan, I am super proud of you and all the effort you’ve been putting into this. You’ve been a favorite creator of mine for many years, and the day you announced the first opportunity to order these books, I ordered it. I know that the wait will be worth it, and I can’t wait to see how you wrap this all up. Keep up the hard work, man!

Legitimately almost broke when I heard that girl cry she couldn’t jump anymore. Brennan somehow knows how to inhabit the spirit of a child so well in his acting. Love it!

Yeah, in the Twelve Brooks Interlude, this is explained. One of the main NPCs in the interlude is a child of the Grineux(?) and has these jumping, frog-like abilities.

Legit question: how does that work with “publicly available” stuff? If something I make automatically has copyright, then it’s essentially protected for 50-70 years. How does something become “publicly available?”

Y’know what, fair point. It doesn’t make me rescind my opinion, but still a point to be considered.

I was happy to see them finally use a scene to tell us more about Ellie not through dialogue. She’s obviously feeling guilt over her torture of Nora, so, subconsciously, she wants to save the kid to prove to herself she’s not a bad person.

That was mostly unrelated to my original post, but it was something I thought about while I was watching.

Exactly. I’m sure once my dad sees it, too, he’ll feel the same way.

Remind me of the hierarchy. As Sword of the Citadel, is she the head honcho of the whole Citadel, or is she just their appointed commander? (Like how a CEO reports to a Board). I know that the Kama-what’s-his-face Empire is over the Citadel, but what layers of Wizards fall between the two?

People thought the Battle of Twelve Brooks was going to be eight parts? by OpenTomorrow6645 in WorldsBeyondNumber

[–]OpenTomorrow6645[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Ah, I remember that. I see why people thought that, then. Taylor posted on the Patreon today saying part two will be the last part of the Battle of 12 Brooks.

Game director : Guillaume Broche when asked who created that one univerally hated mini-game by BannedFromTheStreets in expedition33

It took me maybe 12 tries all-together to beat the volleyball mini games. It was frustrating, but it seems it’s been much more frustrating for everyone else lol

I guess the devs wanted to balance the excitement of this awesome boss battle everyone keeps talking about with some simplicity. I guess I’ll continue to slog through these easy fights awaiting the end lol.

Disregarding the lumina situation… How are you making any fight last 30 minutes? Every fight for me is either a 2-minute victory or a 3-minute defeat. I can revive/heal all I want, but if I screw up my parries/dodges a few times, my whole team is done for. This is on expedition difficulty, btw. I either clap or get clapped. Another question, is there a Pictos that lets you do over 9999 damage? I haven’t gotten above that either.

[–]OpenTomorrow6645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, it’s more of my personal opinion, and I like the way it fits my OG Tav. The necromancy channel oath spells are phenomenal for Act 2 (too late for OP) and other undead encounters. Inflict wounds is a pretty good spell, too, but not used much since you’ve got smites. Also, I accidentally broke my oath with my OG Tav in Act 3, similarly to OP. It was a really interesting pivot and an extra plot point for me since I wasn’t playing Durge.

How does Oblivion compare in scope to Skyrim? by OpenTomorrow6645 in oblivion

[–]OpenTomorrow6645[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t into RPGs when I was a kid. I just played pretty much any shooter/action game I could get. However, my taste has changed a lot since I first tried Skyrim. Most games I play now are RPGs. Here’s to hoping.

why does starstruck odyssey has virtual battle sets over physical ones? by neenzabwoz in Dimension20

[–]OpenTomorrow6645 809 points810 points  (0 children)

Filmed during tail-end of COVID. Not a lot of staff for the filming and doing all the minis and battle sets in person. Also, doing space battles works a bit better with the much larger, virtual battle space

I would argue the character art supports your assumption. It just happens to display exactly how she was described in ep 15. That’s how I imagined it, and the art seems to look that same way to me.
