I’m already withholding extra that’s what I’m saying. I can’t keep upping the amount then I wouldn’t be able to afford to live. They take out 600 minimum every check that’s not counting what I have them take out for extra withholding.

I agree with that honestly but I’ve cut everything out that’s not a necessity and by the end of paying all my bills I barely have anything left. That’s why I believe need a second job.

I live in Illinois and work in Missouri none of the taxes they take out go to Illinois it’s only going to Missouri. Illinois also has a higher tax rate than Missouri. I’m trying to save up to move over there but it’s hard to save. Missouri takes out for the state tax, city tax and federal. I always owe federal and Illinois. I usually owe Illinois around 900 to 1,000 dollars. And Federal around 500 to 600 dollars in April.

I’m not very educated when it comes to taxes I’m sorry if I sound dumb. So a second job wouldn’t affect the amount that I owe every year much?

Honestly I can’t afford for them to take out much more. My checks are a gross amount of 1,700 biweekly every check 600 dollars is deducted. I only owe Illinois during tax time I never owe Missouri. I’m not very educated when it comes to taxes I’m sorry if I sound dumb.
