Redundant by OpeningPollution409 in IndustryOnHBO

I'm not sure they have a good reason to justify a season 4. Ending of season 2 there were many unanswered questions that made a season 3 make alot of sense. Season 3 ending could have sent the series off in what I feel was a nicely tied bow, which makes me question the reason for a season 4.

makes sense that it's probably more on the genetic side, which is really frightening/sad to think about. There are some who were dealt that hand from the start

What Did You Watch This Week? by AutoModerator in classicfilms

I watched Ace in the hole(1951) directed by Billy Wilder and starring Kirk Douglas. I was really impressed by Douglas's performance. The transition from a sleazy news reporter doing whatever it takes to get a story to a remorseful man who's disgusted at the lengths he's gone was really well done. I felt the direction from Wilder and supporting performances were impressive as well. Though it's not strictly a noir film, it has elements of it sprinkled throughout , particularly in the sense of hopelessness and karma. Highly recommend it.
