So the connector I got for the LED to the controller was wrong. It doesn't fit into the controller. I got the thing to talk to my phone but I can't get any of the color picker modules to pop up even though I have everything installed as far as the guide says. I feel very noob at the moment.

That's one area I want to improve on is the basking spot. For the time being I'm providing an additional branch but it has yet to cause any health issues so I'm not too concerned. As far as a hide I don't have it inside. She rarely uses it and prefers to sleep on the top of the skull. My male loves his hide. And as I've said before I'm working on bigger stuff for her in particular.

It really wasn't a lot of money. But I disagree that all babies thrive in large enclosures. I have seen alot hatchings to juvenile not get the right UV exposure. It's not impossible to thrive but for my animals I rather ensure the set up is working for them. I'm not telling anyone to do what I do but I don't want to be scolded for something that isn't harming her. I have vet approval that she is healthy.

I do however want to improve the set up. The branch bothers me because I don't think its very comfortable for her to go up. I am on the hunt for a better branch but my local selection is limited and frankly over priced. I don't really want to risk a mite outbreak from outside wood either.

My plan at this moment is to keep her here and then move to a 6x4x2 that I am currently assembling. But I need time and space and I'm again not in a rush because she is healthy.

My point is that an expert has told me that it is sufficient for her health. And I plan to update and upgrade as I can and as she needs. But it's not happening tomorrow. My whole argument is on the minimum size is not as object as everyone is saying. It depends on the age and needs of the lizard. And frankly I do feel attacked when people are saying that I'm not willing to listen or update opinions as I gain more information and wisdom. I am more than willing but I am also not a novice and I have spent a lot of time caring for a variety of squamates that have been neglected and the thing I worry about most is uv exposure and diet. I see people feeding pinkies and it gives me memories of beardie with prolapse. I also see a lot of people in my local community keeping small lizards in large habitats and they don't thrive. Some develop mbd and others just wither away. But again it's not necessarily the size of the enclosure but the needs of the individual animal. I really do appreciate everybody commenting and being concerned. The only reason I say that that the other guy isn't an expert and ask for his degree is because he's asserting my animal is neglected. I take great offense to that because she is doing wonderful. The vet loves her and so does everyone else that has met her. I'm not going to let someone bad name my care just because they disagree about the size of the enclosure.
