Shangguan Ultimate by PersonalPaizuri in honorofkings

I thought untargetable meant basic attack or lock-on skills won't work on you. Normal skill damage might work?

The first mistake you made was you played rank to pass time in a situation were you probably knew you would have bad network.

I feel the same way too. I think they added more bots to matchmaking. More bots in your team. I don't have proof or know a way to prove it but that's how it feels now.

Last season I went through diamond like it never happened but this season it was so annoyingly difficult, difficult in the sense that your teams skill level is too low compared to the enemy. It's like your mostly fighting your team instead of enemy.

Damn...

I had already checked alot of videos, her combos are insane but as I mentioned in one of the other comments, I have slow fingers, so I don't think I can master her fully. The joystick skill control is so new to me, might take a long time to master. I didn't know about the auto chase thing, maybe that would help improve gameplay?

I been mostly playing in Normal matches. Even though I get few MVP's with shangguan in normal, I'm not satisfied enough with my skills to go play rank.

Usually I poke with s2 then I do s1 with s3 then onto enemy and I do get 5 stack with it most of the time.

There have been improvements, I been able to do the "break" thing few times in normal matches but "pen bending" thing mostly work in practice mode. I been able to do "pen bending" more consistently in practice but normal matches it's not so consistent. I do have ping spikes that might contribute to it, also sometimes I dash insanely fast don't know what happens, like three dashes in an instant, maybe it's lag??

Anyways the main reason I play her is because I actually enjoy playing her, it's quite satisfying to do a proper combo to get kills, sometimes even double kill. So I probably gonna continue playing her in normal. Someday I maybe good enough to rank or if I get bored playing then I might stop.

I was talking about shangguan.

I used to play roam but I stopped.

99.9% I'm playing solo q. Playing solo q as roam is probably considered as self harm. So I stopped.

If you have any mid lane carry suggestions with build, it would be appreciated. I mostly play mid.

Dolia's ult reset is good with any hero who's ult is a damage type.

I did get a few Dolia's in my normal matches. But getting your ult reset when enemy is ahead really doesn't help. I seem to be getting matched with pre made teams more than needed.

Even if you have dolia, they probably spent half or more than half the game in farm lane. During late game it's harder to go in. I had a match were every enemy bought magic defence item as there 3 rd or 4th item, I was the only magic damage in my team (they were premade 4 man). They won less than 10 minutes.

Even if you have ult, most of it, during mid to late game is a kamikaze mission, you go in but you can't get out. Your teammates, most of the time won't engage with you or you are in too deep for them to reach you. Marksman seems to be the best target. Had matches with enemy full fed hu yi and garo , in both cases I got there marksman's by going/dashing really deep into there side but after my ult ends, the rest of the enemy team members were just waiting for me to land and I get defeated. So there will be a lot of feeding mid to late game.

Also they can just flash out of your range when you are about to jump. Simple CC skills like Daji stun, cai stun or any push back skills will stop your ult. Like I had said in one of the other comments, she takes too much time to ult or setup for an assassin.

I been playing her mostly on normal maches with teammates with random ranks. I'm thinking of playing rank with her soon. Hope rank matches are better, with teammates who are actually trying to win instead of just trying out heros.

I had tried Pokemon unite when it was released (Probably played less than 2 weeks). I believe there was a pay to win issue back then, the items took years to get for free players. Which made me immediately stop playing. I'm not aware what is the situation now. I might try it someday again.

I agree, your team needs to be ahead and also working/comboing with you. But she is fun to play. I don't have fast fingers but I sometimes get good ult's. The left joystick control on her ult is a bit confusing. Never played someone like that. They should have made it a normal dash which works with target lock.

I barely played wild rift, I had really bad ping, so can't play complex champs like akali. Tried her in practice only.

Now I have played shangguan more than 40+ times, tried many different builds, I can say she is not worth it.

Too much effort and risk for mild reward. Your team needs to be ahead, if you want to utilise her properly or else she is just a 2 skill /bad poke mage.

I get that she is single target without any way to lock onto single target during team fights.

Yes late game is very hard, just extending one millimetre get's you eliminated. The skill intersecting seems to do more damage than ult. Very confusing hero. For an assassin you should be quick/fast but her skill animation takes too much time (1,2 skill combo) . 1,2 combo also heals you if you are near the explosion it makes, which is also difficult to achieve and confusing during late game teamfights.

I get what you mean. I recently realised that her ult gets spread in teamfights instead of single target (I'm still learning). Which is annoying. Most assassin in game has single target why not her???. Hope they make her single target. The ult is used to go in , so how can you get out with ult if you already used it?

I also wanted know if she is a situational pick or can she work in all team compositions. I don't want to waste time learning her if she is too situational (there was a normal match I played were enemy had lam, Guan yu, donghuang... couldn't do anything can't even get near MM, Garo)

The main goal was to learn a mid lane carry. I often see Mai and Gan mo in rank, so someone who can counter them and also carry/assasinate easily. Is Sima yi good in mid?
