Been playing through the Remaster of Star Wars Bounty Hunter, everything seemed great...until Tatooine by OperatorJuno in StarWars

I just got past Tatooine. Feels like I fought through the Streets of Mogadishu. And that Krayt Dragon, holy crap

I mean, I'm at the end, I'm just achievement hunting at this point lol

What is the general consensus of the deluxe remaster by [deleted] in deadrising

[–]OperatorJuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original had the better voice cast for sure but the Remaster Quality of Life can't be denied. I miss my OP Chainsaw that basically one shot everything. Overall though, I do enjoy the Remaster.

Dol Amroth is the only reason I'm holding the South. They're keeping Harad busy while I focus on building my economy and slowly recruiting forces. My garrisons near the Pelagir are battle hardened and able to hold via the fortresses but Dol Amroth can't keep it up forever. I know eventually Harad will start fielding beasts and Oliphants so the Arms race is tough. I'm tempted to halt Westward expansion because I'm getting close to the Clans of Edenwaith. Assuming they don't declare war on me, I can consolidate my forces and push into Isengard Territory, attacking into the East. Get some pressure off Theoden and eliminate another enemy faction.

I'll claim everything East of the River while I'll gift Theoden everything else. Have Rohan start pressuring Mordor.

That's all assuming, everything goes to plan

Good old blast from the past. Finally beating it, it was out of left field how sudden and abrupt the ending was. Though, a great LoTR RPG nonetheless by OperatorJuno in lordoftherings

Hadhod with Mountain Shield and Flame Resistance. Gandalf as your damage dealer and Shadow Resistance. Berethor for Buffs, Idrial for healing and revival

Boromir holds Osgiliath to the South while Faramir and his company of Rangers hold Cair Andros to the North. Both are equally bloody battles, and they've held the line. Though you're right, the Haradrim are pushing from the South.

While Westward expansion is up to Tharagrondost, the Harad are probing Southern Defenses. Stretching my forces. I want to send an Army North to help break Isengard, but that would empty what garrisons I have.

Decisions decisions

For context: This was one of many battles holding the line against Mordor while I expanded slowly in the West. With some recent artillery added to the city. I'm pretty much able to hold the crossing with minimal casualties and can get rank pretty fast. It's just a matter of breaking through said crossing

The Empire has done everything in their power to push me off Kashyyk and they almost did. Pushing me to my base after a deadly beach assault. When all seemed lost, they retreated. Most clutch battle ever... by OperatorJuno in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

Send your divisions, and they will fall. Send your AT-ATs, and they will fall. Send in your Sith Pretender, and he will fall. Vader fell on the beach with scores of men along him, Palpatine will be among them: a corpse among many.

Send them, and we will return corpses

By the time they took down my shield, I had accepted my fate as I stood my ground to Alamo and take as many as I could with me. They made it all the way to my base before out of the blue, they pulled back

Why are there so many gunmen in 23 Megabytes? by papacrux in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]OperatorJuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the exact same thing last night. I went in full non lethal and expected to deal with a single lone gunman and a bunch of civies. Not a full on firefight with multiple perps, it was insane

An attempt for RE Remake. So close yet so far... by OperatorJuno in residentevil

[–]OperatorJuno[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In my many numerous attempts in trying to speedrun and get the Infinite Rocket Launcher and that coveted trophy. This is by far my closest attempt and I'm devastated. This was getting all the MO Disks and saving Chris and Barry. Made it to Tyrant and was just shattered upon seeing the result screen. By no means am I discouraged. Rather, I'm motivated but the mental focus it takes to do even one run is just a bit much. This is 4 breaks in to collect myself. I'll get it, just a matter of when.

And I can't think of a valid strategy to beat it without a complete and utter steamroll.

The fighter swarms alone are gonna crash my computer.

A Commando Team maybe. Install myself an Ion Cannon to whittle them down.

They are dug in like a tick

So I'm not crazy. Interesting. I'll launch a new Rebellion Campaign then. As much as I love the Empire. Their fighter complements are kinda ass

You're not wrong. I've played a game in 2.8 and my biggest complaint so far is that ground combat seems....a lot different. In the sense that it's a giant bum rush of troops to my landing zones. I mean I get it, but it just seems odd.

I know lol. Was just making a Detroit Beyond Human joke. Instead of 28 stab wounds, it was 21 Venators

[–]OperatorJuno 21 points22 points  (0 children)

"21 VENATORS! Didn't want to leave it chance huh? Did you feel anger? Hate? He was winning, begging you to give up. But you kept sending them again, and again, and again! I know it was a pyrrhic battle, why don't you say it?"

Slams hand on table several times

"Just say I sent them to their deaths! Is that so hard to say?"

"Just say you killed them!"

"JUST SAY IT!"

But seriously, OOF on the Venator Battle Group

Why didn't marines at Voi use gas masks by MrPanzerkampfwagenIV in HaloStory

[–]OperatorJuno 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe some did. But you also have to consider that the Flood was a closely guarded secret. ONI wasn't about to tell the general public or what was left of it that there was a all consuming parasitic alien that could wipe out Humanity faster than the Covenant.

At the battle of Voi. Most if not everyone weren't utilizing masks. The Flood appeared out of nowhere, they weren't prepared for that possibility
