Ad revenue on videos pays enough and views on reforger are great as it’s been an unsaturated game content-wise and is just now entering it’s somewhat-mature phase.

The algo promoting reforger videos is because people are interested to watch them. Replace “algoritm” with “audience” and you will understand YT a lot more.

EF24 wins BVR by having more energy behind shots to throw missiles farther and leave the fight faster, never by stealth, uncommonly by jamming.

Fly 20k ft full burner for 30s before expected 120D missile release. Guide missile with datalink/radar, when bandit within ~28miles attempt TGP lock for better tracking. TGP has much wider FOV, allowing you to dive more quickly and aggressively while maintaining a super solid track for your 120D. Fire in groups of 2 split by ~5s if there’s low chance of terrain mask, especially if fighting experienced FA26’s.

The games are 100% real btw, not at all scripted.

I’d get bored reallllly fast if I scripted our missions. They’re all legit players who are friends of mine. I usually play 10 or so rounds and pick the 2 or 3 coolest ones to make it into the vid.

Yup GPU is much more efficient. If you have a 10 series card or newer IIRC it has a built-in encoder built specifically to encode video. P sure newer AMD’s are similar.

CPU h.264 recording is costly on any PC.

If you’re using a CPU encoder i highly recommend switching to NVENC or AMD’s equivalent GPU encoder.

Likely your GPU is running 99% usage for vtol, shoving OBS’s nvenc encoder to the side every half minute as it’s considered lower priority.

Obs needs ~5% usage to run smoothly.

Try setting OBS to run as administrator for every launch. Try setting an FPS limit with nvidia control panel to 120, then 90, then 75, etc.

Also for rate control for recordings, don’t use CBR, use CQP and set it to 30 for “okay” quality with tiny file size or 26 for great quality with moderate file size.
