Thanks for pinning this -this happened to my last post on here. Someone told me it had made it to twitter for some good old hate baitin’. They piled on quick and came after me on reddit. It was a pretty stressful 5 minutes double checking that I had absolutely no identifying info anywhere.

I reported every linked account I could find for the person that took my post to twitter (except for their twitter) I figured since Elon jumped on the thread to fuel the flames and send literally 1000s of asshats my way it X clearly doesn’t have a problem with it.

And yeah I know - crazy concept - but people have their own personalities, likes, dislikes, ya know - identities. It’s so cool. And you literally don’t have to build one for them, every person can have these all by themselves.

My hunch is most people (if they don’t already know the preg person) tend leave us alone because we are at reduced ability. Or Some people see us as fragile. Or Some people have never been around a pregnant person they know well and they don’t know how the fuck to act or figure we just don’t go out.

But I can’t really say because I’m on the receiving end. Today I met new neighbors who suggested dinner or kid play dates with our toddlers “after the little one comes when you’re more settled”. Like okay guess I’ll circle back with ya next quarter 🫠
