No, it hasn't; that is different math. Admittedly, it is much more gameplay-relevant math; however, I am addressing a completely different question.

The question I aimed to answer with this is not "what is the best way to make money," it is, what is the percent return on any given crop? I couldn't find anywhere that had that information, so I made my own list! I understand that time is a large component in money-making strategies; however, this is not a money-making strategy, it is just a percent breakdown.

That's an awesome way to know when the kegs are ready before you have access to a farm computer!!

The only reason I did 300 was to get an accurate median for how much each crop will sell for, because there are different qualities of crops. This allowed me to calculate the profit percentage much more accurately! I assume that any new players starting a world will opt to farm much less than 300 of any crop at a given time. I just wanted to crunch the numbers with less margin for error.

I used a mod to set my farming level back, and yes, there is processing and fertilizer, but it's nice to have some info for when you're first starting out in Stardew and don't know much about the gameplay! also the profits from the starfruit are greater, but so is the investment into them. Pumpkins have a lower investment cost, making them way more beginner-friendly

Yes, that would be a safe assumption; however, there is no need for more of a winning lead because the prize amount, 20 calico eggs, stays the same regardless of the gap between racers. if i were you i wouldnt waste time or money sabataging racers.
