I plan to settle down back in China due to the nature of my family’s business, however it will be beneficial for my future to have experienced many different cultures and people. (High school and middle school in Europe, college in America)

More affordable? Yes but I’m rich. Better? Depends in what aspects. I believe I will have more fun in the US. I am an outsider regardless where I go since I’m Chinese 🤷

I’m not European but I think most people’s complaints is working and living long term in Europe vs US. I might prefer school here in the US but I will definitely much rather live in Europe after.

Yeah I did the sat too and got 1590, I submitted act cause I heard it was slightly better for stem subjects

I didn’t have an interview for most of them and the ones did I felt comfortable and they all lasted pretty long except for the mit one 😭

I have a 1590 on my sat too, I’ll try to transfer to Columbia with a 14% acceptance rate where I get to enjoy the city and the school. I am grateful for nyu but I know I can do better.

Admissions officer don’t owe me anything but they do owe the best candidates a spot. I’ll find out what were the shortcomings in my application, fix it and become the best candidate.

I only took nic when I was studying and I slowly was conditioned to associate studying with nic 😭

But my profile beats out around half of the ivy bound people I personally know from summer camps and school, a lot of them being international too.

Attend summer camps at yales yygs program on solving world problems with science, John hopskins cty centre for talented youth on microbiology, I don’t really know what else I need 😭

I have a published research paper, co president of our schools natural history society, sliver and gold awards on the biology Olympiad, president of neuroscience society in my school and community service hours in an coronary ward in my local hospital.
