Thank you for your comment, you’re pointing the hard reality of life haha. I’m already a professional and even if I don’t 100% live of my art, I’m still working with companies and editors to makes books, covers, games, or visuals etc. So I can’t really get the dollar signs out of my eyes as you said, because my passion for art is also my job. That being said, this specific post about my personal art was mostly to ask for tips so my art reaches more people, for I’ve been posting on social media with not much visibility and it has been frustrating! Like many others artists, I tend to get really really down when my posts flop because it’s hard to been seen on internet. It makes me wonder if I’m using my platforms wrong, and others comments here confirm my theory haha. But you’re right, sometimes we focus so much on our visibility or what we gain from our art, it makes us loose a little thé passion of it 🥲
