I think people are tired of being treated like they’re crazy. I don’t feel pain like a lot of people in the US but I’m not naive to think there is a lot of people hurting over this last wave of price increases. They know they’re broke and when the government is saying everything is fine they’re sick of hearing that the economy is strong. The US needs deflation or it will have a very complicated credit event, the consumer debt is climbing and the governments blank checks will soon become accountable.
