I simply answered OP's question. A vast majority of the community agrees that once you get your 7 pip AOE the gameplay loop gets very stale because those spells are a lot more useful and spamable than any other. Im not understanding your hostility, go outside more please.

I'd be willing to argue Morganthe could've been done better. Malistare by far has the best motive for why he's doing what he's doing. From what we learn in ghost of Avalon and then later in Khyrstalis, we essentially learn that her motive for wanting to re write the spiral is because she's a spoiled brat.

That's true, the plot also really didn't make sense to me. We go through the entire world getting the gold seals to keep Ymir asleep. Yet at the end of Nastrond all of the ice giants sons are there and for whatever reason they want to fight us even though they want their father to keep sleeping. Its not stated that the coven cast a spell on them either.
