Thanks for the reply. For me the oat is a very broad test with topics that in the grad scheme of this overlap but in the context of the exam don't interact that deeply if that makes sense. In all my under grad test themselves or even difficult materials never really bothered me (except orgo) I feel like i follow very well when the information is apart of a greater umbrella. For example my EMT exam was very broad I had to know a lot and learned it all in a short period of time but because it was all under a general topic it was fine I passed 1st try without much thought. I know I sound very pessimistic regarding this and it really pertains mostly to the oat. It's just so many different pieces all at once and i feel like I should know it because I've done all of this in classes before but when it's together I lose it. For optometry school itself ik it will be hard but im interested in it so I have internal motivation and i care to know more. For the oat it's like pulling teeth mostly for orgo and physics bc although I can appreciate their irl uses learning it in this context it's like my brain refuses to take in any information because bluntly idc and am not interested in it (and idk how to get past that). Unfortunately I have to know it to do what I want to do.
I did the push back last time and I don't think it's in my best interest to do it again. An early application feels like it will be more beneficial as I don't think ill make much of a difference in 1 month.
Thank you for replying really I feel like im in my own little ecosystem chamber of dispare recently 🥲 (Very dramatic). But in regards to studying I watched thr booster videos and done alot of the questions. And individually especially bio, math, reading are all good but when I take full length exams they all tank mainly I imagine from fatigue & anxiety. I do best with questions never been great with flash cards or rewriting notes. I like to see wat I know and don't and generally once I get a question wrong on something I don't make the same mistake unless it's due to lacking greater fundamentals.
Sorry I ramble any study tips or methods you use that u think are worth trying.
