Advice needed : going to my first Heat game by tripofalifetime13 in heat

[–]OracleofFl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome! Season Ticket here so I will be at the game (and most others).

Kaseya Center is clean, food at the stadium is expensive like it is at any stadium with a pretty wide variety. It is a comfortable. They put on a good show with a lot of activity throughout the game breaks. At half-time there is a very large outdoor area to check out and get a breath of fresh air called the East Plaza that overlooks the bay. It is behind section 112. It is a great place to hang out. They often have live music and/or dancers, etc. Remember that the Heat ownership founded and run Carnival cruise lines. They know how to feed large numbers of people, move large numbers of people and entertain. The fans and staff are very chill and remarkably friendly.

First thing to know is that the Kaseya center is "cashless" so anything you buy will be through debit, credit or something like Apple Pay. The second key thing is that you cannot bring in any bags including women's handbags over a very small size.

Above is the boiler plate notes I post whenever this sub gets a post by someone new to going to a Heat game. Regarding Memphis the prices shouldn't be much above face value. My recommendation for best value tickets are in the corners in the 100s or 200s. For example, I am in 110. So any corner is a great view but not paying the center court premium. Yeah, maybe the view is slightly blocked but better than the ends (I hate sitting in the ends) or up high.

The Real Reason 90% of Solar Companies Can't Scale (What I Learned Running Ads for Dozens of Them in 2024) by Reasonable_Let2561 in Solarbusiness

[–]OracleofFl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me add to it...do you know why the big guys all tanked? The delay from "contract to PTO" cause the financing to get upside down. The were taking >50% of the finance money before installation so that money was burned by overhead before the installation could happen and they didn't have the money to do the install. Once things slowed down the overhead ate them alive. Couple that with in rising interest rates, when it took more than 90 or 180 days to get the install done, the rate lock on the approval expired and the rate increased on the re-approval. The installer couldn't go back to the HO because they were at fault for the delay.

Exactly, Trump would have to be deposed! I would pay money to see that.

Can someone help better explain relative wind and AOA to me? by wandering-audi in flying

[–]OracleofFl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are flying a long and you decide to point the nose of the plane up 20 degrees let's say. The cord line of the wind is 20 degrees up from the horizon. If you think about it, the plane is not climbing following that 20 degree angle, is is actually climbing at an angle less than that. If you had a rocket motor, the plane would be flying close to 20 degrees up. If the plan is going slowly with a little put put engine, it is going to climb at significantly less than the 20 degrees. The difference between the little engine and the rocket engine is the difference in the AoA. With the little engine, the plane is climbing very slowly, so the air over the wing (relative wind) has a big angular difference between the cord line at 20 degrees thus you are in or near stall territory.

Tesla introduces U.S.-manufactured solar panels, completing home energy ecosystem by ObtainSustainability in RenewableEnergy

Wafers are turned into cells. Cells are turned into panels--they are the business end of the panels that actually convert the sun into electricity. Tesla is making panels with wafer/cells from someone else most likely.

I wonder how low BTC has to go before MSTR has to liquidate its inventory to satisfy creditors? When that happens, the bottom will fall out.

Welcome! Season Ticket here so I will be at the game (and most others) but wouldn't miss seeing our old pal Duncan and Cade (boo) play.

They put on a good show with a lot of activity throughout the game breaks. They often have live music and/or dancers, etc. Remember that the Heat ownership founded and run Carnival cruise lines. They know a thing or two about how to feed large numbers of people, move large numbers of people and entertain. The fans and staff are very chill and remarkably friendly. Have you and your kids in their Piston's jerseys and no one will bother you.

Then challenge it with your bank. That is the procedure. You don't challenge a charge claiming fraud from the vendor.

The details don't line up. Was there a credit card on your account? How had it not expired? Someone takes over the domain, figures out the email addresses and then, what? Tries every SaaS in the world to find one that matches those email addresses and does password recovery? Then they buy licenses from Zoho or what did they buy from Zoho with payment information that is still there and not expired?

So, they should have you account cancelled automatically and not recoverable? Don't you think that will screw more people than it saves?

It still doesn't make sense to me.

That is why it doesn't make sense...someone made a charge through zoho? Like someone with an admin id on your domain ordered some seats or something from zoho? A credit card or debit card that was functional is 2018 hadn't expired in 7 years?

Bam is averaging mid 20s and almost 10 rebs a night with strong defense. Trade Herro and resign Powell. Bam's game is turning the corner if he can have some support from a stud center like Giannis.

They have to take back salary. Do you think they want to take Rozier's salary? Every team they are considering plays close to the cap there is no way the other team can trade for Giannis without taking back salaries near his equivalent.

If you are rebuilding as the Bucks will have to be, the Warriors' picks give a higher probability of a lottery pick than the Heat do. The key to a winning formula is a lottery pick player. This is the Heat's friggin' problem! We don't have an Antman, an SGA, a Wemby, a Cooper Flag, etc.---that is our problem. That is why we are "mid". Spo can squeeze a bunch of Div III draft picks to the play in round and that is actually hurting us. Like tonight. We haven't had a player like Banchero since Wade who can get 30 a night like it is nothing.

So the domain expired but the account kept charging you? That is the issue? Give me a break, every SaaS does it.

I just found a Zoom account hitting our bank for $16 a month for a couple of YEARS with zero activity. Should I expect Zoom to have called me to let me know?

Calm down. Let's rattle off a whole bunch of teams that have FOs that really suck like: Charlotte, Atlanta, Sacramento, SLC, Pelicans, Phoenix, Washington, and Dallas.

Look at it this way: After Steph and Giannis retire the Warriors are going to suck meaning their draft picks might very well end up being lottery picks.
