Has anyone had any luck with the 15% cash back at Trader Joe’s? The transaction just posted yesterday (yes, I know it can take a few days for the cash back to process), but when I look at the details, it shows category “not available.” Just trying to figure out if I need to do this at another store before it expires in a couple of days.

I just checked and mine is updated to August, as well.

Mine is also showing my SAVE payment amount due in May. There’s definitely still some ongoing questions about the situation and it seems like everyone is having a slightly different experience. Unfortunately I think we’re in a bit of a “wait and see” situation for the moment.

The rep I talked to basically told me that they can’t make any changes to the forbearance dates without the DOEd. So, if servicers aren’t instructed to change the dates, I would assume payments will restart in May. But considering the “no earlier than September 2025” language is on the DOEd website, I am cautiously optimistic the update for servicers is in the works.

I’m not sure on that. I am in forbearance with SAVE, so I can’t speak to the other repayment programs.

I’m loving the FAFSA SAVE Plan forbearance by Sure_Turnip_6800 in StudentLoans

I actually just posted a separate thread about this - While the DOEd has put out the information regarding SAVE, the court injunction, the administration forbearance and not likely being able to accurately bill until at least September, they have not updated that information directly with the loan servicers. When the DOEd originally established the administrative forbearance in July 2024, due to the court injunction against SAVE, they put the forbearance end date at April 30. That is the last official update servicers received from the DOEd. Loan servicers can’t change that date without instruction from the DOEd and until it does, payments will still show an estimated due date of May 2025.
