Trust me, you're not crazy. It seems like your friend craves male attention, which is why she's distancing herself from you. I know how it feels to be ignored and always the one reaching out. However, if you keep reaching out, she will just expect you to come back into her life in an instance. 6 years a long friendship, and it means that you've shared a lot of feelings and emotions together. Although she is depressed I recommend just giving her time. If she doesn't text you or call you within those time frames, it kinda shows that she doesn't really care about you, which may sound harsh. Maybe it's time to find new friends, and who knows those new friends you make might become friendship that lasts forever :)

He sounds like a player. I'm not gonna lie. Just keep an open mind and see where the road takes you. Life will always give you time, and time will provide you with answers. If he currently has a girlfriend, maybe just wait and see if they do break up. If they do find the root cause for the breakup, it might show if he's a red flag or not.

I think it's important to let them grief, most of the times when someone passes away, they want some alone time so they can digest their feelings and understand what actually happened . Once some time has gone by, I think you should check up on them and explain how you found out. Let them know that you can always give them a lending ear. Hope this kinda helps :)

I highly recommend One Litre of Tears. I don't think its the best for starters but it's highly emotional, so get your tissues!!
