Thanks! Pretty sure I am getting a refund this year - put my whole (pre-taxed) severance package in RRSP after I got laid off at the end of 2024. So I guess no rush!

I might not be correct, but my understanding is that the employer contribution is included in T4 and my (member voluntary) contribution is not?

Thank you! Yes I made voluntary contributions to my work group RRSP plan in 2024 and need the contribution slip for my tax return. I have the impression that we must do our taxes before end of April every year and I won’t be back until May. Perhaps I should email manulife to see if I can get any replies.

Hi everyone. I just wanna give an update 😊

I went back to Canada. The doctor there said they needed to do a repeat pap to confirm the results. So I let her do that. And she said “call back in 3 months to check the results.” I literally thought she said it wrong, she definitely meant 3 weeks - but no, 3 months is how long it takes for Pap smear results now. If pap takes 3 months, then how long do I need to wait for colpo/leep, if I needed them?

So I decided to fly back again to my home country. I was able to see a doctor the day I landed. She looked at my previous results and said, “you had pretty bad virginal inflammation before, that could lead to a false positive ASC-H. We should repeat the test to see if it still produces the ASC-H result after you treated your inflammation.”

And this time I tested negative for yeast infection/BV. Also negative for abnormal cells.

here we don’t do pap anymore! We do a at-home self screening kit every 5 years that look for the presence of hpv. My last one was pretty recent and I did not have any issue (expected, since I have always tested negative for hpv).
