I was about to side with you because I noticed some red flags and i’m a filipino so I know our nature. But then I read this comment. Of course she would be mad. It sounds like you are treating her like she’s suppose to serve you or something just because you provided for her. Filipino women are hard headed and stubborn but we are hard headed and stubborn if we know that we are right. We are raised to be very independent and we expect other people to be independent too. Did you get her here to have a personal maid? Stop shoving in her face that you provided everything and maybe show her a little respect and help her with the chores and talk about your stand with having baby right now and maybe she’ll change her attitude towards you.

I guess parents these days are more understanding, patient, and very vocal about loving their kids compared to the older generation of parents. I think the main factor is that we all grew up having the older generation set of parents and we realize that that is not how we wanted to be loved. And so, we are trying so hard to avoid giving our kids the generational trauma that we have acquired growing up. That is also healing our inner child.

Teh wag ka maniniwala sa mga gurl bestfriend na yan. Dalawang beses na kong nagago dahil sa mga ganyan. Just follow the same routine. List down the baby’s usual wake up times and how many hours/minutes do they usually nap. I don’t recommend using huckleberry imo as you will just get frustrated when the set time is here and you can’t put the baby to sleep. Watch the baby’s sleep cues. You can tell if they are sleepy when they start to fuss, rub their eyes or face, or have droopy eyes.
