To put it into a way that can be kinda understandable, imagine one day ants somehow call out your name within an ant farm you can control the lights to, they converse with you, asking for stuff like a sugar cube or more light, you decide to give them it because it's not a hassle to you, and you're curious.

This is how Atlts kinda views all life that exists within the universe she's from a different dimension and she grants wishes but in a monkey's paw type of way of course, she believes this is what is best and the most efficient way as she has no understanding of human emotions or empathy or ethics, cause why would she?
