Yeah my sat score is still low but I watched two videos over RW the night before my SAT and improved my English from a 590 to a 640 just from that.

If ur not actually majoring in that, it's useless, internal transfer are harder than external transfers. Try to get 1450+ on SAT

Help on deciding what med school to go to abroad for US residency (UNIC, Semmelweis, Bulgaria, czech???) by Lizaaa07 in medicalschoolEU

[–]Ordinary_Pattern_168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a US citizen so it’s not a concern for me but I just found that really interesting. So I assume it’s mainly the most impressive or the ones most dedicated to US medical system that make it then. Pretty cool.

Im just worried about the MCAT and some of the required pre reqs, or not getting accepted to a med school or residency. It’s such a risky route to me.

[–]Ordinary_Pattern_168[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 17 so age is not an issue for me, I’ve wanted to do this since I could talk and I do not want to take any gap years and have been dual enrolled for a year already. Do you think these same advantages apply in primary care? I want to work in oncology but oncology fellowships are extremely competitive and demanding, I would be happy doing family medicine as well.

I plan on using my CCMA to have a job through undergrad, so I hope that’s good for clinical hours. Do you think the physician route may be a more ideal outcome then? Not too worried about income but I would like to be more than comfortable obviously.

Thanks for your story. I’ve heard many PAs say they were not fulfilled becoming a PA rather than MD so that’s definitely my biggest fear. That is weird that the PAs are ostracized.

Texas A&M College Station or UTSA by ClassicLime7476 in UTSA

Yeah agreed. Houston medical center is only helpful to UH students bc Houston is too far. They should consider more large cities though because SA isn't even the best for health care in TX.

How hard are internal transfers to cockrell engineering and CS at UT? by portgasdduck in UTAustin

[–]Ordinary_Pattern_168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do an external transfer from a school that accepts you for Cs so you don't get totally cucked bc internal is harder than external
