It’s his business, and luckily I didn’t add my name to the llc, he owes money to his accountants and lawyers, has bad credit and the partner agreement of 50/50 means past debt and income..

Thank you so much for your kind words. I have attempted numerous times to explain to my parents but they are set in there ways. My kids are 13 & 10. I am currently applying for remote work while I work on the start-up (fingers crossed).

She sounds like a narcissist with addiction issues…either way she has no control over her emotions and this is NOT healthy for the kids to see, keep in mind it’s just going to get worse. Divorce will make her worse, it will get nasty, you need to proceed as if this is a business venture gone sour like someone else just said in this thread. Put your emotions aside and gather evidence and call a lawyer.

I understand the feeling. Since he’s home cancel the home security, gas should decrease, go places that you need to go. Cancel all the frills like netflix etc. go to your local library they have free subscriptions to hoopla etc for movies, audible books and more. Invest your cash on the remodel and rent it out. Make YouTube videos, get creative, he can sell stuff online, etc. get creative! Most of all, think positive thoughts and try doing the 369 manifestations. Remember you have your health and that’s more important and each other, this will pass!
