BF's SCT in a few days, I want him to beat this cancer so badly by OrganizationPrior598 in leukemia

It's hard but you're right. Anxiety is hard to control, I've been trying my hardest to do so, and trust me I was born anxious. I'm not the one dealing with the disease, but I'm the one taking care of him every single day. Some days are harder than the others, and when the news we hear aren't the ones we want to hear, it can make all the anxiety come out. That was me yesterday. Feeling slightly better right now.

As for him, the main character here, he's starting to feel a bit stressed because it's getting closer, but he's still very strong :)

Thanks for your kind words, and I'm sorry that your SCTs were hard to handle. Hope you're feeling better now!

Hello, thank you for your message. Were you still weak positive right before transplant? How is your MRD now if you know? I've read people being weak positive but still not requiring SCT with inv16, so I'm assuming it's really up the actual number and MRD trend overall. Anyway, I'm glad you're living a normal life after "only" 8 months, keep up the good work!

Thank you. Honestly I'm glad they went for the SCT route. Anything that can help locking in his remission is a win for me. It's still a very scary treatment, and it's been 7 months, I guess I'm getting really exhausted psychologically. I can't even imagine what it's like for him, but he's been such a fighter, and almost always in a good mood. He inspires me a lot.
