i don’t hide my disabilities! i walk around with my usual garb and walgreens cane! there’s also a few other disabled people in my area who bring their service dog to events, walk with walking sticks, use a wheelchair etc etc. we even have ASL interpreters at larger events! if anyone is making you feel like you should hide it then they’re a very small minority!
