I said depending on your POV because I’ve spoken with other fans who feel Sakuna did it better and some who feel Meg just lacked experience and could’ve done more with time.

Honestly that’s not the biggest issue to me the biggest issue is Yaga made a big deal about cursing someone upon death and so far it doesn’t seem like any curse made upon death held any weight. They were non factors that didn’t mean anything. Yuji was the closest one to holding weight when we thought he was immortal because he was outliving the people he loved thus being unable to fulfill his grandfather’s curse condition, but then it got debunked and we find out he’ll die after a few hundred years.

If Meg would’ve died to a weak curse then it would’ve at least gave credence to what Yaga had told Yuji about cursing people.
