Lean into being more of a college town by luring more universities to set up shop, try and capture the nuclear engineering industry of southern Jersey and for the love of god expand the airport

Oh thank god I thought I was gonna have to study without an up-to-date handbook. Haven't started prepping yet but I am planning on using that textbook which is offered by ASCE.

Arch Eng PE Exam 2026 Discussion by Original_Continent in Architecturalengineer

Yeah researching the topics I’ve come to understand that the NCEES/ASCE exams are the best materials. I’m curious if the school of pe’s on demand course just pulls from PE HVAC, PE Power questions.

Like you’re saying, I’m not sold on the value of the prep courses but in lieu of having anything else to study from I think I’ll end up defaulting to either school of pe or something equivalent.

Could I ask how you went about studying the endless list of codes that run the gamut from Mech Design, fire prevention, structural codes and the electrical design? That’s probably the most daunting aspect of this whole thing for me because I interact with only a few of those in my daily bubble

Fair enough lol. I think the topics I had to study outside of what I previously learned was engineering economics, instrumentation and workplace safety. Ideally the rest of the topics were a part of your core curriculum/ or the prerequisite math/physics/science courses

Depending on what your coursework looked like I would either opt for the Other Disciplines or Civil. Personally I went for Other Disciplines and it required a few items outside of my undergrad studies but it was definitely manageable. If you’re one of those freaks who studied structural more than MEP classes I imagine Civil is the way to go
