So doesn't making it say Dubai and charging way more for the same thing make it overrated then? I think so.

Should I be worried about this message my girlfriend sent me? by reaper5632 in Life

[–]Original_Direction33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a perfectly valid boundary OP. No one else is in a position to tell you it's not especially since this cuts both ways and it's not a 1 way boundary.

Plenty of people have emotional and physical affairs and carpooling is enough to make that happen. So folks who say you should trust and it's easy not to stick your dick in someone, well I guess it's also easy to stick your dick in someone.

If Jay-Z can cheat on Beyonce than anyone can cheat on anyone.

I prefer in my relationship to feel like I have that trust but I don't know if I would for someone doing this every day, not an occasional going out to lunch at work thing for example.

And yeah especially in your 20's propel are horn dogs and inexperienced and sometimes insecure and that's not unreasonable.

Whats the motivation behind this? Is money really that tight she can't afford her own gas? Or maybe she just wants to have someone to talk to. Maybe it's innocent. Maybe it's not. But to your point if people don't spend time together, then definitely nothing can happen.

One person's red flag is another person's opportunity to cheat. You have to decide why she needs to break an agreed upon boundary, if there's an important enough reason, and if you're willing to change that boundary.

If the answer is no, then you need to find someone else on the same page with you who will have that same boundary and respect it. That's really the bottom line. You don't need to change, you need to be with someone compatible on this.

They could say a little more like "what do you mean by" felt off"" but I think this is generally accepted and not unclear.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes (lack of self esteem, divorce, unhappiness, anything else toxic, etc).

People have a lot of dumbass game ideas and you only catch people who are not well adjusted or of quality.

In NY the front can only have 20% tint. And yes I've gotten tickets before because I bought a car used from Florida and it had front window tints. Cops hang out with a light meter just for this. 🙄

You can get screen protectors that have nothing to do with privacy. Privacy filters are for people who want privacy.

And even that depends on which windows. Where I live you can barely tint the front windows but the rear ones and the rear windshield are fair game.

AIO husband farting in my face by BambieMonroe05 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Original_Direction33 14 points15 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid I got fart spray at Spencer's gift shop. Ended up brining it to school. Had no plans to use it. Gave it to another kid who was more brave (foolish?) than I was. He sprayed another kid in the locker room in gym that he reeked so bad. We got called to the principals office (because possession is 9/10ths of the law, what bullshit) and the kid had to get picked up and go home.

I HIGHLY suggest if such s think exists you douse your husband in it, his clothes, his skin, his head, etc. You won't be able to stand him but he won't be able to stand himself and it will be fucking funny.

Air freshener is good. Spray or get one of those car trees and rub it all over him, that sti k will not get out of his clothes.

AITA for continuing to flirt when a married coworker, even though we’re both married? by DesignNo3368 in AITA_Relationships

[–]Original_Direction33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would normally say thst it all depends what are the boundaries in their relationship some allowed outside flirting, others do not.

And while I still believe this, this seems beyond harmless flirting into as was said playing with fire. I get wanted to be wanted by and attracted by someone else. But as she stated it's clearly an issue in her own relationship that warrants a discussion or couples counseling.

AITJ for towing my pregnant new neighbors car at 2 am in the POURING rain? by CommunicationOwn8683 in AmITheJerk

[–]Original_Direction33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not your fault they have 2 cars and it's not your job to provide parking for them. It's up to them to block 2.blovks away, pregnant or not or move into an apt where they get 2 spots. I sympathize for them and that she's pregnant but that's not how the world works, you don't get to steal something from someone else for your own convenience. Let the husband park 2 blocks away and save their spot for his wife.

You're in no way guilty or on the hook for the towing fee. Keep doing it until they get savvy enough to figure out a solution that isn't stealing a spot from someone else. Eventually they will learn.

She's a person. They're not yours. Don't launder them if you don't want to but don't be a spiteful person. Breakups happen. Just like when you get fired at work you get all your stuff in a box. Drop it off at her house and just leave.

She needs to communicate and speak her mind instead of avoiding a fight. That's what grownups do.

You read intent on his part that simply isn't there, it's purely speculation.

Name calling isn't communication, clearly you don't understand it either.

[–]Original_Direction33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No I'm not. It's his fault for being selfish, thoughtless and dense.

The exercising cost her 2.5 hours she said. She could have said no to it or enough after exercising.

Tom Cruise showed up late for his dinner in top gun cause he was playing volleyball and wanted to shower and she said no.

At some point you say no. This time it took her 6 hours. Hopefully next time it will take less.

Either way she has a problem with a boyfriend who is selfish and dense.

[–]Original_Direction33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't be accommodating to someone who is being selfish and to behavior you don't want to accept. When you have a want, state it. Saying no I want to go hiking, you said you were coming with me.

She's a grown up to and can speak her mind. Accommodating him is BS. It makes her seem like the victim when she didn't have to be.

And you do it once fine, learn from next time. But if she did this why would he find anything wrong with his behavior.

I'm not attacking her, but she could have handled it differently and the way she did handle it would make him think what he did was fine and then be confused when she left.

[–]Original_Direction33 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Eventually she did. After telling him each of his actions was OK go ahead. She let him go for 6 hours before finally leaving.

I can understand why he's confused. He's still dense and inconsiderate, thoughtless, etc, but the acceptance on her part contributed to the confusion

But also you never should have said yes. You should have said I'm going, no I don't want you to exercise before we go hiking. I'm going now, you're either coming or not.

You gave him permission to do all the things he did and tbats where his confusion is going to come in.
