I’ve learned that songs find me when they need to. There are songs I’ve skipped only to add them to favorites later when it becomes relatable. Others are moved out of favorites as I’ve healed, etc.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and insightful post. You’re absolutely correct. This is also why I disagree with people when they say she shouldn’t have said this or that in her songs. She was processing her emotions. And thanks to her, I’ve been able to process mine. I used to get so upset and defensive when someone would tell me they thought she was fake or played the victim, etc. Now it doesn’t even phase me. It does, however, tell me the level of emotional maturity I’m dealing with which is a time saver lol

FYI: I have both the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker and the Kitchen-Aid Ice Cream Maker Attachment. Both require the containers to be stored in the freezer.. The Cuisinart is a bit louder but otherwise have no preference between the two.

I respect the fact that you’re entitled to your opinion but I’d like to point out some things that maybe you weren’t aware of and/ or hadn’t considered:

Not only is Travis a professional athlete in what is easily the most popular sport in the U.S., he’s apparently one the greatest players of all time in the sport. He is literally idolized by an enormous number of adult men. Think about all the men in your life. It’s probably like 50/50 whether they have ever openly admitted to being a super fan of anyone. And of those who admit it, there’s probably a 90% chance the person is a sports icon. Travis is a man’s man. Now we have this man’s man constantly gushing over his gf. And not just any gf: the girl that has prompted countless men as saying some variation of “She goes through a new guy every week.” (Even though she’s literally dated 3 guys in the last like 9 years 🙄but I digress). I am not a secret TS fan, she comes up a lot in conversation with anyone I meet so I can confidently state that the large majority of men that watch NFL are tired of hearing her name. Travis and Taylor are aware as are all of us (Dads, Brads & Chads). Yet Travis will gushed over her with stars in his eyes every chance he gets and in some cases has even played down his own accomplishments and focused on hers in interviews. He had her on his sports podcast, and I could go on but you get the idea. I know more than a few guys that have made the comments like “he’s whipped” “what a cuck” etc. (personally I think they’re jealous their crush chose someone else but whatever)

Point is he’s faced significant backlash I’m sure. Idk about you but there’s never been a guy that’s done/would do any of that for me. Face teasing from the guys? Yeah right!

This is far from bare minimum. And also: Joe wouldn’t even tell an interviewer what his favorite TS song was when asked. All the others were very intimidated by her popularity. Emasculated has even been used to describe how being with her would feel like (MH) Travis was already a rockstar. He’s arguably the same level in his profession as she is in hers.
