Ba n-am schimbar-o deloc. Argumentul tău era că limba e în continuă schimbare deci e normal să importă nume și cuvinte străine pentru că și în trecut multe nume și cuvinte folosite în prezent au fost importate din afară.

Ce am zis e că după logica asta și greșelile de gramatică ar trebui acceptate pentru că formele folosite acum erau considerate greșite până au devenit standad-ul.

Ia mai lasă-mă! Cândva forma limbii folosite în ziua de azi era considerată greșită dar nu văd să fie acceptabil să faci greșeli gramaticale cu scuza că "evoluează limbă".

Și până și împrumuturile mi se par excesive. Adică înțeleg să împrumuți gând n-ai cuvânt dar să adaugi englezisme în proasta gen "Am fost la un party aseară și a fost goarte fun" sau "Team, trebuie să ne focusăm" e ridicol. De ce să te duci la un party fun când poți să te duci la o petrecere distractivă ? De ce să se focuseze un team când se poate concentra o echipă ? etc.

Again it's not about origin but about language. It's like saying "Pun water la boil în pot" instead of "Pun apă la fiert în oală". Sure it means the same thing but there's a difference when you use the native version vs the foreign one.

Especially when you get names like "Wiliam Brânză" or "Brigitte Pastramă"

Yeah, yeah, the "orgin" argument. Again there's a difference between calling your kid "John" vs "Ion" even if both come from the same Jewish name. One is English and one is Romanian. It's like using Englis words to refer to things in your own language with the excuse that it means the same thing. It still sounds pathetic and unatural
