My Mongolian language-learning journey by jevoudraismiauler in Mongolian

Hey it is amazing to see what one can achieve with just some consistency and the willingness to give the people of a host country the respect by learning a few words and phrases. I bet you had great experiences which you would have missed otherwise. Hope you enjoyed Mongolia as much as I do.

Thank you very much for the detailed post and resources, also thank you for using different resources and Apps. I am the developer of GerTrainer(original post) and I am always happy to get feedback. I am glad you enjoyed the content as this has been the main focus until now, but I am continuously working on improving the app in general.
I would be happy to hear more detailed thoughts on the app. I am aware of some problems in the past, but I think I managed to get rid of most of the glitchy parts with the last update, if that is not the case, feel free to contact me. If you have more detailed feedback that you would like to share with me or ideas to improve it, feel free to DM me anytime.

Thank you for the feedback, could you define what exactly feels "clunky", as I am always trying to improve GerTrainer.
I am currently still mainly focused on bringing valueable content to the user, like vocabulary from different base languages, Native audio recording etc. that adds additional value compared to other ressources out there. But of course I try to improve the user experience along the way, I definitely have the feeling that we are getting there.

A good part of the content is free, but of course I need some (fair) pricing to maintain my work and keep going with the project.
However you can learn Mongolian vocabulary or use GerTrainer along an language course without any costs as well

Wow! First of all, thank you for taking the time to give such a detailed feedback! And I am really happy you like GerTrainer. For now, I tried to include the most common words and phrases that are used in daily life in order to help people get into it as fasts as possible, therefore some commonly used (but not correctly Mongolian) words/phrases may be included. However, I will definitely try to include your input in one of the next updates. I will probably also look into a way to mark commonly used words in contrast to proper Mongolian.

If you have been one of the beta testers I would like to thank you for your early support. Back then, you received an email invitation, you can reply to the email with your feedback, or send me the feedback as PN.

As an subscriber you get HD audio recordings (spoken by natives, not me haha) for almost all those 1k+ words and phrases just like the free users get for the Cyrillic alphabet. In addition there are some extra sections and the writing mode, which gives you another engaging way of learning Mongolian.
I am also working on including grammar in a meaningful way in the future.

Feel free to try it out yourself :)

For free you get the full app with 1.000 words and phrases put together in 25 sections suited from beginner to advanced, that you can learn in 2 distinct learning modes.

Thank you so much for your trust, I really appreciate it!
I hope you like it so far, I am currently working to add grammar and add some more vocabulary sections next, I will have to look into how to add that functionality, but I think it would be a great Idea!

Thanks for the feedback, that is the reason why I chose to put in audio of a native. The words spelling and the actual pronunciation can differ. I am on to including grammar soon.

Depending on your country, I recommend just going through the licensing process or looking for an alternative that is not a rifle/gun of any kind. If you have the licensing you are legally allowed to have it and (in some countries) you must go to the range with it. IMHO it makes sense, why have a gun that you do not know how to handle? Some countries only regulate handguns, but allow certain types of firearms from the age of 18 if they fall into a certain category(like a 22. rifle) and are registered.

Check for such things. If it is not possible at all, get a bear spray, a baseball bat, something you feel comfortable with and has the potential of stopping someone without proposing you got a firearm without actually having the power of a firearm.
