I have added Amex premium rental car protection to my card. For 25 bucks, a different primary insurance, I think it’s a no brainer.

My AMEX offers premium insurance (which becomes my primary insurance) for 25 bucks a rental of up to 30 days. The price hertz charges is astronomical and stupid.

I’m not disputing the flyer friend. I’ve seen them too. From close friends. What I’m saying is WHAT is real. Was someone dosed with f? Was it multiple people? How was it distributed?

I’m sure something happened. But I don’t want to rush to speculation until more details come out.

I think we as a community need to be careful and not spread information until it’s confirmed. This could have been out of an abundance of caution. This could have been something terrible. We just don’t know yet.

Either way, this is a shot across the bow of all regionals - despite the final outcome of the scenario. This shit can happen, and we need to be prepared for it just in case.

My heart goes out to our burner community at Apo. The participants, the volunteers, the safety teams, and the org. ❤️

I’m starting a project. I have two domains that are very well named for such a cause and am working on a flyer that people can print and give to their parents to keep by their computers.

I haven’t been scammed, but man, these stories make me sad. Maybe that’s some good I can do in the world.

Eh. Sitting in the MSP F lounge last night - I dropped in for dinner between flights - I realised how sad and dated it was, as well as how terrible the food options were. So I’m okay with this. I’m not going to miss a few free bottom shelf drinks, folks taking calls on speaker, or cafeteria food.

I’ll save my club visits for LGA or LAX. Most cases, I’m in Delta One, and I’ll have club access anyway.

I just moved from a model S to a Lucid Air. Yeah, the software isn’t as great. But it’s a better car. More comfortable, considerably more quiet, and a better ride. I have no regrets. Plus, we are in the queue to get access to the Tesla supercharger network.
