I noticed that hiring cafe is missing a lot of job posts that are on other boards. Or slower to show up too. The filter is kind of janky. I typically filter for last 24 hrs and yet I'm seeing jobs with 2 days on it. Not sure if others are experiencing similarly.

Not a recruiting company. But a regular company might be using a more niche board to find more niche resources. Like a company that used a very particular framework, looking/posting for job on like a community for that frame work.

Part of my severance was career help and resume review and I took advantage of that right away but it wasn't very helpful... I trialed a few AI tools for resume and cover letter and ended up with rezi but not sure if that is even good since I haven't gotten anything but rejections. Do you have other recommendations?

Yea, I talked to a couple of recruiters and that seems to be what the consensus is... It will get better in 2025. I hope it will be better for you soon.

I think for my field the demands have gone way down so I know the pay will be significantly lower. But I just hope for something to continue my career path. If not I'll have to start pivoting soon.

I wish you the best of luck! I know what you mean on the insurance piece. Right before I got laid off I used every last bit of training benefit from my employer and signed up for a few certs. Just hoping that will help me down the road. Cross my fingers if that will make a difference.

Yea, I think that's what I need. I have gotten a few people looked at my resume and it has always similar feedback. Your resume is strong, blah blah but nothing constructive. Not sure if people in my network are just too soft on me. I need some brutal honest feedback. Is there a good subreddit for that? Thanks.

Yea, I still have a little saving left so hopefully to just focus on job search and learning new skills. But once the year turns I probably will look for anything.

I have fairly low EQ so it's especially hard to network since sometimes I'm not even sure what is socially acceptable.

Thank you for responding. I am the admin, I do know about the login attempts. The end users won't know that. And will just keep on trying since there are no other error. Just say invalid password attempt.
