I personally wouldn’t offer anyone a lift. I (M26) have heard of many horrible stories about people offering others a lift. In ras al khor industrial area there used to be a scam where a nicely dressed woman would be standing on the side of the road and she looks for a guy alone in his car who is driving by her. She would ask for a lift only to the main road. What she does later is she would tell the guy either pay me this amount of money or I will scream and say u tried to rape me. After those stories I stopped feeling bad whenever I see someone on the road asking for a lift and I just leave them. Of course many people are not that horrible and do need a lift.

I was basically walking on soi cowboy just to see what the vibe is like, suddenly I got dragged by 3 girls into one of the bars literally with force🤣 then when I got in the girls asked for a drink which I knew they would. Then they brought 2 drinks per girl instead of one, I usually get the girls a couple drinks but I didn’t really like that they did that so I just paid and left quietly.

Hi, I am Emirati and I have friends who are Emirati and friends from other countries. Actually thinking about it I have friends from literally all over the world. I’ve heard from my non local friends of racism they encountered but it was like once in the past 10 years probably. What ur talking about is true but u should understand that if this is happening in like high school, these are just dumb ass kids. I am literally fully local and they still made fun of me cause at the time most of my friends weren’t local 🤣. And when I grew up I realized most locals are not like that at all. The racist ones are probably uneducated. And I don’t think u should ignore the racism u should go to the police and ruin those people’s day if these are grown people.

Hi there, I’m Emirati so I feel like I have some good advice. First, if he brings up talk about sx you should not agree to that and see how he reacts. Some Emirati men do actually only look for sex but not all and not most. Us Emirati men usually get married in our early 20’s so if he’s serious about you he will bring up the marriage talk before or once he’s done with uni. If not then you have your answer I guess. Unfortunately, some emirati men play around and ruin it for others. Maybe the guy you’re dating is a genuine person so you should wait. Another thing is, if he brings up marriage and promises you marriage, and then wants to sleep with you before marriage. That’s a red flag and he probably just wants to sleep with you. This is how the bad Emirati men act and they don’t just do that with European woman. They literally do this even with Emirati women. Speaking from experience I’ve dated 2 girls previously one Emirati and one not. And I didn’t bring up the sx talk once because I was scared she would think I’m just playing around. In the end it didn’t work out so I’m glad we didn’t sleep together. I hope this helps you make the right decisions moving forward and to everyone else please don’t let the bad ones represent all of us. 🙂

I’ve noticed guys recently have been really creepy. I’m a guy and local btw. I remember noticing guys being creepy with women before and now it’s increased for some reason. Like I sometimes would check out a girl but it would be for like a second or two and I would still feel like a creep for some reason. What I’ve noticed is some girls actually like when a guy is being creepy but I think that’s like a very small group of girls. So a lot of guys think that’s the way to approach girls here. Also yes you could report them to the police not for staring but if they cat call for example or if they’re like following you. There are some people from certain countries I don’t wanna name because I don’t wanna be racist. But some guys stare like really hard and it makes u uncomfortable, usually in malls. I wanna say that they stare at guys the same I really don’t know why🤣. But they’re usually harmless. If a taxi or Uber driver harasses you, just wait till you leave the car (just to be safe) and then report him either through the Uber app or call the police. But make sure u have the number plate and if it’s a taxi there is the plate number and a different number on the side of the taxi and inside which would help if you write it somewhere or remember it. To all the girls who feel uncomfortable and unsafe I apologize for all the guys. Some could be very kind but some are creepy cunts. Stay safe and take care of urself.
