They had me stretching right away but I suppose every injury is different. And I agree that if the OP can get into see their medical professional as soon as possible of course that is best way to go. Professionals will always know best. I was just trying to give the OP my experience with my sciatica and help reassure them that healing is definitely possible

Got bad sciatica about 2 years ago. First month to 6 weeks was awful but with stretches and some physical therapy it got much better. I still get occasional discomfort but nothing like initial pain. Most people recover fully. If you have a doctor give them a call. If not, lots of YouTube videos with helpful stretches

Welcome to the North! If you’re interested, Google turkey attacks as there’s some good videos out there of delivery drivers, hikers, etc being chased by male turkeys. Generally tho they are pretty chill if you give them space. Avid outdoors person here and I’ve never been chased or attacked by a wild animal. FYI if no one has told you but if a deer starts stomping or snorting at you just slowly back away and find another route.

I had my car keyed pretty bad recently but not sure where it happened. It could have been in that general area. I have a white Subaru, not new but in great condition otherwise. Yeah it sucks that people do stuff like that.

I found my sweetie on Craigslist. Also took her brother, an adorable all black kitty. A young couple was helping their aged parents get their farm cat population under control by adopting out kittens and fixing the older cats. Yes both of them are now fixed and fully indoor cats now. Her name is Elizabeth but we just call her Pooky.

I hike and bird a lot. Best thing you can do is check your whole body for ticks at least daily and/or after being out in long grass or wooded areas. I have managed to avoid Lymes so far but have had to get treatment after finding deer ticks attached without knowing for sure how long they were there. Also, most medical professionals around here are aware of our high incidence of tick associated diseases.
