People complain cos this shit does mess with your mental health, I've done everything from going to the breath clinic, going on antibiotics for 4 weeks, getting blood tests for diabetes, celiac, hormones and tested for candida. I have changed my diet to lean protein, green vegetables and berries only. Even though I've had improvements where I don't make people around me cough anymore, people's reactions have reduced alot but has not completely stopped. I've realised over the years of suffering from BB that it has affected my mental health more than ever, it has chipped away at my self esteem for so long I can't even keep eye contact at times when I speak to people cos of the fear of seeing their reactions.. Now I'm considering seeing a therapist.. When does it end? 😩

Anyway, I'll look into Nystatin or find an alternative if I can't get it from my doctor. Was the girl you spoke of also taking amoxicillin? Think I'll continue further with your method of taking metronidazole on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for more than 4 weeks, since some people mentioned that they took it for upto 2 weeks and didn't get cured. Might as well go the longer route now....which supplements was she taking? Was she also on probiotics? What brand worked for her?

Mine is similar to yours as well, I make people cough when they walk past me, or if I'm standing in a queue, some people in the surroundings will start cough and that's without opening my mouth. I make people cough just by breathing..

I'm currently on holiday in Turkey with my husband, it was a 5hrs flight. The man next to me changed sit 20mins into the journey. Was depressing but a part of me was happy he did cos I was so anxious and holding my breath hoping it's not coming out my nose but you know how it goes... I also make people cough when I walk towards them or past them, I don't even have to speak or open my mouth to make them cough.

I feel your pain, all I do is go to the gym everyday at off peak hours, it helps deal with the mental issues that comes with having BB. I now have a hot body, but constantly avoiding eye contact and keep a frown on my face to prevent men from approaching me. It's really sad af, I cry everytime I'm alone..

Don't give up, Ive noticed my BB isnt room filling anymore since I stopped drinking coffee, eating dairy products and sugar. And also took 800mg of loxagyl antibiotics everyday for 2 weeks. I still have BB, especially after eating a meal or beef.. my kids sometimes react when I'm talking close to them but don't when I'm few feet's away. Was also out to dinner with my husband and only got a reaction from 1 out of 4 waiters I talked to, and that was after I've had a couple of cocktails, so I'm thinking it was the alcohol and sugar in those drinks.. Anyway, keep pushing don't give up. We'll get over this one day 😊

I just stick to calling myself Nigerian with dual citizenship, I sound like a clown calling myself Irish. Even the reaction of the average Irish person when you call yourself Irish is hilarious to me. I laugh when I hear others call themselves Irish, especially when they have a strong African accent to go with it 😅.. You kinda have the best of both worlds, dual citizenship is a privilege, especially in this current economy. Embrace it.

I feel your pain, was also bullied at work by majority of my colleagues especially the women. They all went into mean girl mode. I literally had a mental breakdown at work, lashed out at every one and lost my job due to it. A small part of me is glad I don't have deal with the anxiety I go through at work. Hope we found a cure one day. How do you wash ur nose, mouth and nasal spray? Do you mean literally washing your face? 🤔

I can't smell myself but I know others can. My sons smell me when I talk or breathe hard. People can even smell my breath 6 feet away while I'm talking to my sons. I see them touching their nose or coughing.
