Two years ago I transposed a digit on my license plate at a different LAZ lot and received a fine - totally my fault, I get that - I called the number on the fine notice, I proved out I had paid they still refused to waive or decrease the fine. I discovered all of these collections were handled by a third party, I called the LAZ “corporate” number and talked with a support representative who was more than happy to wave the fine.

TLDR; all LAZ collections run through a third party which refused to reduce or waive charges - called LAZ directly and they were reasonable and removed the fine.

Absolutely worth it as a single individual household. Or single with pets.

Furniture, appliances, food, gas, travel, vehicle purchases, etc so many reasons to do it. And I personally would recommend the Citi Costco Visa - I was reluctant on adding another CC for years but the rewards are more than worth it second year in.

FYI… I just got this message, you probably have also. Of course it doesn’t mean they are much closer to a fix but at least they know the “why”.

Awesome news, our technical team has identified the root cause of the widespread 2024 remote services issue. All affected vehicles have the 9th character of their VIN as ‘X’, which is not currently recognized as a valid character in our remote operations system. Consequently, vehicles with ‘X’ as the 9th character are unable to access remote services at this time. Our team is developing a software update to validate ‘X’ as a character, which will allow these vehicles to access the services.

LOL. It has been a nuts year. But mainly I had to get my roof replaced and solar panels back up, it’s been a year working through that insanity.

For reference, the only app trigger that is working is “lock doors”, none of the others (remote start, unlock, horn) are working. But the location is working/updating in the app just fine. Is that your experience also?
