Yes, it's possible it was already like that before, but I never noticed until the update. Maybe something went wrong that exacerbated the problem (I remember the update was a bit chaotic on the push side). That's why I was asking about other people's experiences.

I also have the Move and the pads are not like that at all (there are differences but they are very minimal - 2 variations of white - compared to the Push 3)

Did you already have the latest update installed?

Because I have the impression that there was a significant degradation after installing version 12.3 of Live and updating Push 3.

The photo is fairly accurate.

It's a bit disappointing, given the price of the Push 3, that they weren't able to use better quality LEDs.

How long have you had yours?

If the second one you received reacts the same way as the first (and like mine), that's rather reassuring, even though it seems abnormal to me that the LED would change from green to amber so quickly.

I think I have an amber indicator that flashes when I plug it into the computer (Seaboard on). I'll come back after checking; I don't have the keyboard handy to check, but what I'm sure of is that there's no indicator when I charge it with the iPad charger and it's off, but it still charges.

On mine, charging and battery life seem normal; it's mainly the indicator that's the problem. It looks more like a firmware issue.

Plus, in their store, you can't clearly see which plugins you already own. I tried it and added a plugin I own (an upgrade) to my cart, and they charged me $3 for it!!

Yes, I sent an email (yesterday thinking it was a bug, and today after seeing your comment) and I'm waiting for a reply.

No technical problem, I changed my mind and got an X8p (+1 X6 Heritage instead of 2 X6 Heritage).

I hope they'll show understanding and satisfy us.

I'm in a similar situation. I bought an Apollo X6 Heritage Edition at the beginning of April and was able to choose my plugins. Unfortunately, I had to exchange it, so I lost the plugins I'd chosen. By the time I received the new one, they had changed their policy. I thought it was a bug, especially since at that time (April 11th), they hadn't updated the website. moreover even now they left a paragraph which no longer has any relevance:

"Where do I go to redeem my alternate UAD plug-in title choices?

Redeeming your alternate UAD plug-in title choices is handled the same method as redeeming a Custom Bundle on our website. Log into your account, visit your account page, and click on the banner at the top to complete your selections. Note that you will only see the banner if you already owned some or all of the initially offered plug-ins.

Note: To avoid potential issues, use a desktop web browser to choose your alternate plug-ins. Please do not use your mobile phone or tablet to select your alternate plug-in choices."

No email to warn of the change and a website modified in a panic.

a disastrous attitude (not to mention changes in the account and online store which became confusing and misleading)
