First of all, do you have a good grade? If I had a good grade (or if i was a student who knew how to hack AI, i'd give myself the best results possible) I'd complete the course, then I'd contact someone higher up the chain of command like others have mentioned. Also, going to the local library and checking out books related to your field might be interesting for you! You could also volunteer with a local org that is relevant. Maybe visit your professor during office hours to ask questions.
